Plethora Project is an interdisciplinary indie studio based in Detroit, Michigan. With a distinctive blend of Architecture and Design, the studio produces unique simulation games that reflect on current world challenges. Their first videogame, Block'hood, an ecological city builder published by Devolver Digital, received the "Best Gameplay Award" at the Games for Change Festival in 2016 and was nominated for "Games for Impact" at The Game Awards that same year. The studio is currently developing Common'hood, an emotional community management game centered around producing a new habitat for the people of a neighborhood that has been hit by an economic downturn. Common'hood aims to create a bridge between the virtual and real-world, providing a digital platform for the design of real architectural solutions. Kowloon Nights' support has allowed the studio to broaden their goals and design of the game by pursuing the addition of online tools to enable a global community of passionate builders, who will be able to share with each other amazing creations.
